“Critical Thinking: The Soul of Communication” Reaction

 After reading the article, it proves that good communication is important and it is also link with good engagement and attrition. From the article by the Project Management Institute's, the most crucial success factor in project management is good communication. Large amount of money is wasted due to ineffective communication US75 million is at risk for every US1 billion spend on the project.

I learn that effective communication is always the key to success. Without having an effective communication as a team, ideas are hard to be brought across, thus wasting unnecessary time and effort.

Being a leader, will require to think rationally provide sound reasoning and provide a coherent argument. This will in fact provide a good and effective communication.

Critical Reflection

 Multiple ways that critical thinking has benefited me. Compared to before this module, my way of thinking has significantly changed. My goal at the outset of the program was to be able to efficiently assemble my thoughts and talk fluently. This program has helped me to efficiently assemble my thoughts, and by doing so has helped me greatly to converse fluently as I have all the ideas in my mind. Being able to think critically also help me with doing assignments, previously I was not able to write a formal letter as the ideas were all over the letter. Overall, I have to say that the materials and information imparted to us were really helpful in terms of communication and critical thinking abilities. My communication abilities were also enhanced by talking and asking questions in class. The article “Firefighting Robots Go Autonomous” written by Little (2021) addressed researchers’ breakthroughs in developing firefighting robots and their capabilities.
